I was finally able to figure out what happened to my knee three weeks ago when I injured it playing football. I was diagnosed with a torn medial meniscus. This essentially means I will need surgery, but I don't know if it will be in Israel or after I get home at the end of May. The surgery will be arthroscopic, so the recovery will be fairly quick, probably less than a month.
I am still going to get a second opinion about whether or not I should get the surgery here in Israel but there will be surgery at some point soonish.
